Hi !FirstName,
The Qld Government is calling (yet again) for submissions on the proposed split of PAMDA.
As you are probably already aware, on 20 November 2013 the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, the Honorable Jarrod Bleijie MP, introduced the following Bills into Parliament:
The Attorney-General also referred the Bills to the Legal Affairs and Community Safety Committee (LACSC) for consideration (Click on the above links to view the Bills, Explanatory Notes & Brief Overviews).
Subsequently, as a recognised stakeholder, ADL Software has received a request form the LACSC to make a further submission in respect to these Bills. Submissions close on Friday, 17 January 2014 and the LACSC is required to report their findings on Monday, 24 February 2014.
Even though we have made a number of submissions in the past in respect to a split of PAMDA, we will be revisiting those submissions and re-submitting if we feel aspects of our previous submissions have been overlooked or not sufficiently considered in the tabled Bills.

It certainly appears that many of our previous concerns have already been addressed or will be addressed in these new Bills. But it is certainly worth taking advantage of the Government's extra care to ensure the new Bills address all issues currently affecting the industry's ability to provide effective & efficient service to the community.
The LACSC has also invited us to extend their call for submissions on to anyone we believe might be interested in these issues. If you wish to make submission in respect to the proposed Bills please Click Here for guidelines on making a submission.
Written submissions should be emailed to:
