Hi,

We have had a number of calls from clients requesting the ability to specify an Appointment Type for Agency Appointments that are for the purposes of Letting Only.

Specification of an agency type in Part 6 of the PO Form 6 (and associated legislative requirements) only relates to property sales and does not apply to appointments for Letting Only purposes.

As a result we are pleased to announce that we have added a new Item (Appointment Type) to the schedule that ADL attaches to the official PO Form 6 for use in Property Management transactions (Residential and Commercial). Available Appointment Types are:

• Open Appointment
• Sole Appointment
• Exclusive Appointment

A new Clause (Appointment Type) has also been added to outline, in respect of each Appointment Type:

• The obligations of the client
• When commission is payable by the client

These changes will enable agents to better protect their commissions when entering into an Agency Appointment specifically for the purposes of letting a property where the agent will NOT be managing the property after the letting.

Forms affected are:

• AUQLDRECMA03 PO Form 6 - with Schedule for Commercial Letting &/or Management
• AUQLDREPMA01 PO Form 6 - with Schedule for Permanent Letting &/or Management
• AUQLDREPMA02 PO Form 6 - with Schedule for Permanent Letting &/or Management (excluding Insurance Item)
• AUQLDREPMA03 PO Form 6 - with Schedule for Holiday Letting &/or Management
• AUQLDREPMA06 PO Form 6 - with Schedule for Holiday and Permanent Letting &/or Management

2. Updating ADLForms

ADLForms should have automatically updated to allow access to the new forms and the latest version of the software (9.4.1) when you first opened ADLForms today. If this has not occurred then:

1. Click the 'Update' button from the main menu of the program. Please allow a few minutes for the forms and/or program to download and install.
2. If this fails to update your forms then:
   • Select Tools -> 'Re-initialise ADLForms’ from within the Main Menu of the ADLForms program. This will close the program.
   • Restart ADLForms and click the 'Update' button.
3. If you still do not have the updated forms click here to download and re-install ADLForms.
4. If all the above do not result in a successful forms and program update please contact our tech support team for assistance.
