Based on information accessed on the 30th November 2019 through the NSW Fair Trading website, which indicated a start date of 2nd December 2019 for the Residential Tenancies Regulation 2019, ADL released relevant forms changes at midnight on the 1st December (Last night).

Unfortunately the gazetting of the amended regulations was not published on the 2nd December as was anticipated. Our subsequent enquiries of the Office of Fair Trading indicate the start date for the regulations has been delayed and will now not come into force until next year.

We have, as a matter of urgency, rolled back our forms release and reinstated the forms as were available through ADLForms prior to today (2nd December 2019). Forms affected are:

To ensure you are using the correct forms, please open ADLForms from your desktop and click the Update button.

ADL apologises for any inconvenience this has caused. We have made enquiries with the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment to ensure that ADL receives timely advise in relation to the regulations coming into effect.

1. Updating ADLForms

ADLForms should have automatically updated to allow access to the updated form and the latest version of the software (9.5.8) when you first opened ADLForms today. If this has not occurred then:

1. Click the 'Update' button from the main menu of the program. Please allow a few minutes for the forms and/or program to download and install.
2. If this fails to update your forms then:
   • Select Tools -> 'Re-initialise ADLForms’ from within the Main Menu of the ADLForms program. This will close the program.
   • Restart ADLForms and click the 'Update' button.
3. If you still do not have the updated forms click here to download and re-install ADLForms.
4. If all the above do not result in a successful forms and program update please contact our tech support team for assistance.
